PUNJAB STATE ELECTRICITY REGULATORY
COMMISSION
SCO 220-221, SECTOR 34A, CHANDIGARH
PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to
all that the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has submitted that
continuous process industries are getting uninterrupted power supply for the
full load whereas actual load required to run continuous process is far less
than the total load. Even in the peak load season when the PSPCL is short of
supply, Continuous Process Consumers avail uninterrupted power supply for the
full load whereas peak load restrictions are imposed on other industrial
consumers. To sort out this problem, PSPCL has proposed the following changes
in the criteria for allowing continuous process status:

competency to grant Continuous Process Industry Status to General Industry
shall be with the committee consisting of Director/Distribution (as Chairman

considered if the Industry fulfills the above conditions. |
