ORDER

The Petition for adhoc revision in tariff submitted by the Board came up for hearing on June 17, 2002. The Commission noted that a regular Petition for tariff revision for the year 2002-2-3 was already pending with the Commission and Public Hearings thereon are scheduled to be held within a few days. The Commission desired to know the justification for adhoc tariff revision proposal of the Board in view of this position.
The Chief Engineer/Commercial, who represented the Board stated that the Board was not interested in pursuing the Petition in view of the fact that regular Petition for tariff revision was already pending with the Commission and was in the advanced stage of finalization. The Board, therefore, offered to withdraw the Petition.
The Commission allowed the Petition to be withdrawn and dismissed the same as not pressed for.
