ORDER
Punjab State Electricity Board
(Board) has filed this petition for approval of Fuel Cost Adjustment
surcharge. As per clause 3(iii) of the Appendix 7 of the PSERC (Conduct of
Business) Regulations, 2005, petition for fuel cost adjustment increase for
first quarter of the year 2009-10 was required to be filed by
The Board has submitted its petition on 30.9.2009 in which it referred to its earlier application dated 19.8.2009 seeking extension in limitation upto 30.9.2009 on the ground that the petition could be prepared/filed after the issue of the Tariff Order. The Commission observes that this is not a valid ground for seeking extension in limitation. The petition is clearly belated and is accordingly dismissed.
